I have been a member of a fitness center all over the USA for the last 25 years. I honestly can say I have never been in a worse fitness place. They made a mistake with our bank account number (common mistake with this place) and blamed us. Loud music and loud TV's blaring all the time. Very little space and very little equipment -- so we can never get on fitness bike because there is only 1. Went in on a Saturday two weeks ago and attendant girl was sleeping at the desk while the cloths to wipe down the machines were filthy. Also, we got someone to join and were supposed to get a free month. They never gave it to us saying that we had to request it - - which we did. For the same price, we are going to EA Fitness which is much more professional. NOTE: None of the photos above are actual photos from SNAP fitness in East Aurora, NY. Horribly run franchise.
I have been a temporary member for almost 2 months.I got a great 2 month trial deal on Groupon.The place is super clean,there are No FILTHY rags lying anywhere,you wipe down the machines you use, just as every gym I have gone to.
I noticed the other review complains about a few things, and I can't speak to those since I haven't ever experienced situations like that, but, as far as "TV's blaring" the staff leaves the remotes off so that members can change them, since the gym is always empty I don't know why you wouldn't just reach out and lower them?
Good clean 24hr gym, leans more toward on the machine side of things. Could use an Olympic bar and power rack. Bring head phones.
In the 2 months I have gone,at least 3x a week no loud music or tv.The staff is very helpful,I love the hours and the equipment is diverse, with 2 new pieces- bikes, just this past week.Another plus is the patrons,so many polite, seniors ,middle. aged and young people.I love it there.Oh,the photos are exact of the inside.As I said a very pleasant place to get in shape ,get yourself a Groupon trial and check it yourself. !
I joined just because it was clean, thinking that I would be able to ease back into a fitness routine comfortably at a gym like this, but actually, since it doesn't clog up with members I have the gym to myself and don't feel embarrassed trying new things.
I workout at the Snap Fitness in Op and in Ea (where I work). Honestly, its probably the reason I've lost 15 lbs since February. They're super convenient and open 24 hours everyday which is amazing.
