We may go back and walk the trails but I don't think a dog park is right for me and my dog.
Knox Farm State Park is an East Aurora gem! It is a wonderful spot for bird lovers! There are hiking trails that wind you through fields and forest, and past lovely, picturesque ponds. Many people are not aware, but there's a beautiful waterfall hidden away as well! Dogs are always having a great time in the two, enclosed, dog parks. Simply walking the gorgeous, tree lined streets is a treat. I love this park for walking, hiking, biking and simply getting into nature!
The buildings need to be have more time and money spent to keep them maintained but I'm sure that's a State and local funding challenge.
This is a dog park not a place for children. It's a great park but lazy parents who bring their small children in and let them pest the dogs are ruining this place. There should be no children allowed in the dog park area for safety reasons. Told a little boy 5 times to leave my dog alone and that she was irritated and of course he did not listen and no parents in sight. Dog didn't do anything to him but she was hot and ready to leave. Finally found the parents sitting on their fat lazy ass in the shade and told them to watch their kid because he doesn't listen. Also if you don't have a dog you shouldn't be at a dog park and definitely shouldn't be there with young children to play with OTHER people's dogs. Common sense is no longer common it's mind blowing. It's sad that these people are ruining this beautiful park.
Beautiful place with interesting history and lots of nature to wander in. The dog parks are well kept and bigger than others I've been to.
Love it here! Beautiful place to go for a walk, it's huge! The fenced in area for the dogs is very big also and our pup loves running around and making friends.
Went to the dog park. I guess I wasn't sure what to expect being the first time. Probably won't go back. I'm not keen on shared water dishes and with so many dogs pooping everywhere sharing of diseases worries me.a couple dogs misbehaved and their owners were too busy gabbing to notice. Not cool.
