First and foremost, the Aurora Pet Hospital staff is excellent. Our animals get quite nervous visiting the vet, but the techs were patient, gentle, and they knew exactly what to do. In our experience across town, their answer was to sedate the animal in order for the techs to handle it. I'm pleased the staff here is able to handle our animals without sedation. Both veterinarians were very professional, and did thorough exams on each of our animals. They were able to quickly diagnose Lyme disease in our dog, and run simple tests on our cats who have had a history of specific health problems.
We took our two cats to Dr. Meisner, and our dog to Dr. Keem this past week. We are new to the area, and have used the East Aurora Vet Hospital for treatment on one of our cats earlier in the summer. The experience between the two clinics is night and day.

Secondly, the space is clean! Taking your dog or cat for a medical examination should mean the standard of care is still high. When taking samples, or simply examining the animal, the exam room should be clean to prevent the spread of germs. This makes a difference, and it makes the experience of taking my animals for their exams much more comfortable.
My family and I recently lost our 13 year old Weimaraner. She was our baby and we've been shattered. Dr. Meisner, Dr. Keem, and staff went well beyond our expectations with their knowledge and kindness to help support us in our time of need and sadness. We inform many people daily that Aurora Pet Hospital are the area's best option for pet care and always hear the same from many others. From puppy to senior, we appreciated all their care they express to our family and look forward to the years to come with our new Weimaraner. Thank you Aurora Pet Hospital - you are the best!

Thirdly, they are very upfront about pricing, and if there are a variety of treatments for specific issues, they give you a range of prices. In our experience across town, we were quoted $800 max for a procedure on our cat, which turned into over $1400 after the procedure was done, the cat needed to come home, and the bill needed to be paid.
